Bill
Biewenga is one of the top ocean racing navigators/weather routers
in the professional racing circuit. He was the project manager and
alternate skipper for Thursday's Child in the 1986-87 BOC Challenge.
He has sailed approximately 300,000 ocean miles including four Whitbread
Races. In 1993, he co-skippered Great American II, setting a speed
record from San Francisco to Boston.

Peter
Hartoft founded Hartoft Marine Survey, Ltd. in 1978 and has earned
the reputation for being among the best marine surveyors on the
East Coast of the United States. Peter, a native of Denmark, built
his own Opti at he age of 10 and has extensive sailing background.

David
Flynn has been a sailmaker for more than 18 years and has been part
of the Quantum Sail Design Group since it was founded in 1996. His
racing background covers a broad spectrum from small one-designs
to custom big boats, including winning programs at almost every
level in a variety of boats. Based in Annapolis, he also is known
for his abilities as educator and coach and has extensive experience
helping racing sailors improve their skills

Greg
Gendell started sailing at a very early age and most recently participated
in the America's Cup on America True and the 1997-98 Whitbread Race
on Chessie Racing.

Tucker
Thompson is a professional sailor, performance racing coach,
sailing consultant and writer. Tucker has won several awards in
high school and collegiate events as well as one-design and match
racing events. Tucker sailed on American True in the 1999-2000 America's
Cup Campaign and was involved with the 1997-98 Whitbread Race on
Chessie Racing.

Foxall sailed his way to the top 10 of the solo Figaro class
in 1999, THE most competitive solo ocean class. He is a native of
Ireland and has an extensive racing background in the professional
ocean racing circuit.

Kathryn
M. Weber, CPA, is a lifelong sailor with extensive experience in
both cruising and racing. A Certified Public Accountant, she has
owned and operated several successful businesses, and has competed
in numerous regional, national, and international regattas in venues
including Brazil.

Cheryl
Jersey is President of Jersey & Associates, Inc., an advertising
and marketing company, and assisted with the original design of
2001minitransat.com. She is an Annapolis resident and active racing
sailor.

Eastport
Yacht Club has accomplished a great deal since its creation
20 years ago and is responsible for many local and regional community,
cruising, and racing events including the Santa Maria Cup, a prestigious
international women's match-racing regatta. Its 500 members represent
a broad spectrum of the Annapolis community and are active in supporting
EYC's goals of promoting and encouraging and challenges and rewards
of sailing and furthering the enjoyment of yachting locally, nationally,
and internationally.
